A bag of bones,
stumbling through the haze
in offbeat reflection,
losing what I wanted most.

Taken away,
one piece at a time,
leaving dry husks of skin
flaking away
from cracked bones.

A vulture in the corner
mourns his loss;
there's nothing left to eat
but dust.

All stanzas are great and devestatingly beautiful! The one I loved the most was:

"A vulture in the corner
mourns his loss;
there's nothing left to eat
but dust."

Thank you! This was one of my experiments. I just sit back and write whatever pops into my mind. No editing and no thinking. I find that it helps to break writer's block. Thanks again

Seems like the block is broken! I liked this, and have actually felt this way.
