Sometimes we feel such confidence, Understanding our place here, In this unkind world. Sometimes we're at such ease, And feel as we can do no wrong, In this crazy life that leads us. Sometimes we find the light, And do all we can to crawl back into the darkness, While everyone else lives in fear of remaining there. Sometimes we regret the things, We only wished we'd done, Like expressing a love we've always felt. Sometimes we must move on, And forget all the things we lack, And, yet, no less empty are we. Nice to see your post here, Jean.. And interesting thoughts - perhaps experience can full us up though - and learning... you know, wisdom coming with old age and all (and me at 26 heh  ) K...and I have found a lifetime can be lived in one moment... |
