this was written in response to a phrase challenge given to Poet de Vine. I've changed the words somewhat to fit my metre. The originals words were Goodnight...tonight I am too sad.

Good night, too sad I am tonight
Encompassed by the night, I will sit in fright
So I will take the pills I must,
Sleep the sleep of the just
I'll wake to find a new day dawns
Where sunlight gleams and moonlight yawns
A little death till morning light,
In sleep's forget I say goodnight

A beautyful little lullabye there Kethry.
I enjoyed it very much. And now it's midnight here in Norway, so I think I'm going to do just what you just told me.
Good night Kethry

'Sleep the sleep of the just', this line made your work. Though mine, beautifully renewed, didn't hurt---Ha! This will tell me a story again and again.
