It shatters my heart And steals my dreams I'm tortured by love Or so it seems It comes with the night And hangs in the air It fills me with fright And brings me despair It laughs in my face With such evil tease For I'm the disgrace That love will not please It hits me so hard With feelings so low I'm left only scared And prey it would go Out of my life And so far from me I'm tired of strife And the mocking I see I'm tired of pain And thought you should know It drives me insane With a horrible blow Straight to my heart And deep in my soul It tears me apart Exacting it's toll I'm tortured by love Of that I'm aware I'm tortured by love But who of you care G. This was so painful to read  It brought tears to my eyes... Love can be painful, but when you find the right love, It is the most wonderful experience anyone could know.... I slept and dreamed that life was beauty was thy dream then a shadowy lie? -ESH- |

Temptress*Moon: Sorry about that, I didn't mean to make you cry. This was just a few angry thoughts that sprang from my warped mind. Ya, love can be a wonderful "experiance" until you realize that it's just an illusion. I suppose I'll find "true love" some day, but not any time soon because I'm not even going waste the effort looking for it. Thank you so much for your reply, I'm glad you liked one of my many views of the darker side of love. Xeonox: Thanks! Isis: Thanks Lisa, but don't worry, I'm not that depressed. This was just another one of my many "dark passions" so to speak. Though I've been (and am for that matter) "tortured by love", I'm still an old romantic fool. So I fall for it every time. I know that's a weakness on my part and that my love should be more stoic as everybody else's seems to be, for the the world to accept. But I just can't get myself to be that way, oh well. Thank you!
