    silent
   heart seen
   in
  eyes ascension
           ringing
clear


mist formed
       paradigms
      enchantment

cloaking real
     breathe vaporous
        dreams

blood is reality
        pounded
     in sparks
        effused

    this anvil heart

           I

      tempered in
    icy soliloquy
          void
    where no life
          is said
       can exist
let alone
love

       and yet

  watching eyes
    ponder
again   and   again

       what
   watchtowers
        define
           the architect

the stone
    of iron
      breastworks

       to challenge
               spiked
             in defense

or the hamlet home
    nestled cove
      gardens life
         never seen

unspoken
  but in eyes
     smile

branded


        fusion
         alloyed
      hearts blood

         one

dismembered
rational blades
     dissected
         pinned
            displayed
                 framed
as once life

   and yet

     these wings
         pound
        pull forth
           beating
            to fly
            shattering
          the mirror box

    no blade nor nail
       forged of man
         or sky
       could
         quench

         this fire
           of life
             given
           taken or denied
             burns inside
              the beacon

              to always

                  horizon
