I close my eyes
Dancing with lost souls
Where midnight's forever
And the death bell tolls.
Sun use to shine here
But it's infinite black
Distance brings the light
Yet I cannot get back.
In warmth my heart beat
Now lies dormant, dead
I still hear her words
Echo throughout my head.
Always gave love my all
So I surrender now
Tired of fighting pain
It killed me somehow.

I close my eyes
My blood runs frigid
Angel of death
Makes me feel powerful and rigid.
Sun use to shine here
But the life's been drained
Now a torturous world
For the tormented and insane.
In darkness my heart rots
Like love's forgotten corpse
Inject it to my veins
And let it run its course.
Never gave me your all
Could have surrendered to you
Tired of fighting the pain
Caused by a love so untrue.

The sun is aglow
Where our love grows
Darkness used to loom
No longer any gloom

Even amongst stormy sea's

To beckon your call
No pain to battle within
From this world of sin
Only open eyes to see
What true love can be!
The heat runs freely now
A droplet from our brow
Our minds tossed away
From torture of former day
A life so new and kept

This reminded me of a work called "Dance of the Doomed"

And everyday that goes by
is one day closer..
when you will feel nothing
and your problems
will be resolved.
And i'll be left
to spend my days
with the dead.

This is a very emotional and beautifully morbid piece Jeremy.
