The Last Dance

As she took stage, A sad look upon
Her face
The music starting playing
That's when my heart started to Race
Not moments before, she whispered
To me, "This song is for him"
Only wish he could see
The glow of the lights, reflected
Her tears
She looked like an angel
Who just lost her wings
She started to dance, slowly exposing Her skin
I could feel her emotion
Her thoughts placed on him
I could see it in her eyes
The love she has for him

Most excellent! The imagery is great here.
Perhaps it is my lean towards the expressive nature. Bittersweet indeed!

I loved your poem, it was so beautifully written, though slightly sad.
