I step between darkness and light
A dance of dreams
To view you as you sleep
Angelic
I gently place
Soft whispers of affection
That trace your ear
Weaving into your peacefulness
Lodged into your memories
In hopes that as dawn rises
Casting hues of hope
With a new awakening
You will remember me
Forever
And always
But for now I am content
To step between darkness and light
Dancing between your dreams
