can i walk the miles
should i talk with the smile
does it help to
live a life wearing your shoes
will anyone believe me when i say today

i've but just begun
i'm very far from done
the music you see is the battle
the wordsyou see
the words you see

without knowing the feeling
without the breathing
the essence is a war
the feeling is a chore
the feeling of more

the wordsyou see

care to dance with me
dare to chance our lives
prepare to enjoy the sounds

the wordsyou see

so many things we've seen
too many dreams we've known
enough to get us through to again

the wordsyou see

about the eyes so bright
around enough to stop the moon
care to choose with me
dare to squint to see

are you still here
have you gone away
