This could be true:

The prehistoric edibility of these things
is most unlikely. It would take,
for instance, a very large anvil
to kill a mastodon.
Likewise, the mechanics of the chimpanzee
to imitate, say, a cracked nut.
Fruits and vegetables, certainly.
But there must have been colonial ants
of nearly the same speech.
In a similar manner,
the left knee of a wildebeest
would have worked just as well.
Our present understanding of this subject
goes far beyond mere stone flakes.
We may demonstrate this technology
on the cutting plane of an octahedron,
each side of which is the appropriate diagram
for that particular period:
unifacial, bifacial, discoid, polyhedron,
scraper, handaxe, spheroid, and hammer.
And as we clearly see, the line is continuous
for nearly 1.825 and 7/9 million years.

Mirror Man this piece has intrigued me
enough to read it not once but three times.
This one I must study and question myself as to what i think its saying. I do believe your piece here would make an interesting
discussion.I really like it I had to print this so I could read it again. I hope you dont mind.
