Did you ever feel like sometimes everything is too much?
Like the world is falling apart at your feet?
Like very step you take is only making the ice thinner?
Or maybe that you are the only one the sun doesn’t shine for?

Every day when I get out of bed these are my thoughts,
They rush through a slowly awakening head,
Standing in a hot shower everything seems to be wrong,
Why should anyone be forced to live this way?

Time isn’t something you can measure,
It is something that drags on for endless nights,
Every second seems longer when you have nothing,
Sounds seem to pass right through ever sleeping ears,

You seem to be the only one who can stop this,
My sadness grows every second I can’t hold you,
I know it is wrong to have only you to hold on to,
Living my life for you isn’t the right thing to do,

What else do I have in my meaningless life?
I will tell you---nothing, just like I always had,
I was born into this and I am stuck with this,
Not mattering to anyone but you and having no one to hold onto,

"I'll build a wall if we can keep them on the other side"---NIN
"There is no always forever, just this"-the cure

Wow.

Heavy - and hurting...understatement I guess.

Does it help at all to write it out?

Hugs Ginners...

Gin, first off Hi from "the wolf".
Second off: Your words rang so true this morning the shock will last all day. and then some, you are not alone in this world with this thought.
My world is so wrapped up and into my wife, that with all the bills and pain in this morning it all comes true with your poem.
Hell just getting heat for the house this morning is hard, haha really.

Just know that you are not alone, and that there is more to this place than posting.

Joel, love your work kid.
HHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWLLLLLLLLLLLL

I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel.
