There's a dead spot
On the lawn
Under the tree

That's where the sun
Will never go
And shouldn't be

Where you and I
Lay on the earth
For God to see

The brilliance that
Our love did birth
Our family

I like this. I don't know what is is, maybe the three line stanzas, but it's just a nice peaceful read.

Yes indeed, it was a very beautiful write. It took me back to the beauty of the first love feel.

Good work,

Ginners, Dark_kisses_Within & Isis: Thanks! I find it interesting that I, of all people, created something considered "peaceful". Those who know me in person know that weather in love or hate I'm anything but peaceful. As a matter of fact, there may be a certain someone reading this right now who would agree with that statement…right Lynn…lol! Anyways, thank you all again.

Take care all.

Not very good at religious connotations, this one kind of stumped me.  I re-read it and still can't get it    Sorry...

firejerm: This is by no means meant as a religious piece. When I referred God, I meant it as in the world, the universe, the cosmos, what have you. This is no more than a fantasy for me and a rather bitter sweet one at that. For I know that there is not a single soul in this world who wants to share that spot under the tree with me. Therefore, I bask in the shadows…alone. That's what makes this piece a very "dark passion" for me. Something that I can see so clearly, but that is always dangled just outside of my reach. I hope that gives you some clarity. Thank you for taking the time to read this piece.

Illusion: Hey you. Ya, it's been a while. I'm ok, thanks. How are you? I'm glad you liked this, thanks again.

PoeticEnchantress: And one more BIG thanks to you. I'm glad you liked it as well.
