I stepped outside yesterday to get away from it all
sitting in the middle of suburban america I can still hear your call
The birds sing your praises with there songs so sweet
stepping into the street I hear the wind calling your name
the sun in the sky proclaims your glory with it's radience,
while the stars shine of your infinite beauty

while walking along the beach I hear the waves giving praise to you name
from sea to shinning sea your glory reigns
the mountains cry holy from their highest peaks
while the valleys cry worthy from the deepest depths
The rain storms proclaim your might with its beautiful display of power
while the quiet spring day shows your grace and mercy
every thing around me shows evidence of existance
from the tiniest particle to vastness of this universe
so how then could I ever deny you
for if I stay silent the very rocks will scream your glory

in the silence of the night I hear angels voices singing your name oh how beautiful is your name as they sing over and over.  (SPOKEN)

Very nice rescue. I enjoy reading the religious pieces. It was extremely enjoyable.

whoa....  This was quite good.  This sounds a lot like a psalm, indeed.  I will definitely be saving this to my library.  Looks like I'm not the only one making this bold move of posting spiritual poetry in the teen forum...

Well done here.....I liked this one. I love the religious reads too.

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.
