Put down the bottle Stand up and look at me Set down the glass Calm down, I didn't say anything Go to the rave Take your mom to a bar Put down the keys Want a tree wrapped around your car? But it's not hot in here No pot No h No ecstasy Can't you remember? No blow No speed No LSD You promised me No booze No huffing No ruffies I can't understand you Rehab? I have the number You get high with you mom? I'll get your dad's number Call him, drop the bomb But there's no one over there Put down the bottle Look me in the eye Are you gonna stop, Or would you rather die?
Okay just a note, I have no problem with drugs, alcohol or anything of the like. Just came up with this when thinking about a friend of mine. I don't think he's into quite as many drugs as I've listed, but I just wanted to cover all ground. I'm always grateful for advice, but he doesn't listen to reason. Bel

Well done Isabel. SAY NO TO DRUGS. You really put out a good message here because addictions are horrible.....you may like a drug but if you do it too much you are lost and in the gutter. People can learn from this. Well done.

hey...i really liked this poem. kind of sad how some kids are brainwashed to think that drugs are cool, but oh well. people in my family have gone thru this, but i have learned to stay out of it. i know that seems cruel, but sometimes i think the person needs to deal with it on their own. anywayz...this was a really great poem. thanks 4 the read :-) later -fear-
