omg, i started crying at this poem. my father sometimes hits me, and i can totally relate to it. it put a clear picture in my mind, and was very well written.

wow...this was powerful and very emotional filled also protrayed so well through a sad sad life...i really liked the way you wrote it as it came quite real situation for me...great first post

Very sad poem. I went through a period in my life like this, and TRULY thought about taking the same path that Wendy from your poem did. Scary though, looking back on it. Great poem. Welcome and I hope to see more soon.
