the sun falls
and it creeps
on tip-toe quietly
while the world sleeps
it taunts and teases
and sets to leave scars
as i pry endlessly
at these relentless bars
there is no end
to this eerie silence
so my heart quietly
gives into the violence
broken feelings
pave the way for sadness
as i strive to find
an end to all this madness
fear overwhelms me
as i lay and anticipate the light
still, the time stands still
and this creature steals my sight
such a quiet and lonely place
to which i submit my fears
such a quiet and lonely place;
the land of tears...

Awwww this was so sad. The ending really hit me. I loved it. Great job on this one!

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

I'm in love with my shadow
I admire it daily
