I pledge allegence to the flag
of the united states of america
and to the republic for which it stands
one nation under God indivisible with liberty and JUSTICE FOR ALL?

They say each man has equal oppertunity
but only after passing a certain age requirement
yes you do the job well and you have the skills
but we want experience, and age is our thrill
We don't care if your better qualified
because of your age your chance is nulified.
Don't you know this is a job for the old
your so young you'll never do as you're told
If you do get the posistion we'll reject you
and use your age as a weapon formed against you
We don't believe you can do it even though you did
well just say well put it this way those facts are hid

To young to do any right
not old enough to put up a fight
so just get out of my sight.

Blasephamy the words you speak are a lie
you never give me even the chance to try
I prove my point time and time again
but I always loose you won't let me win.
This isn't equal oppertunity at all
your bound and determined to watch me fall
I'm young, and I don't dress or talk like you
as I matter of fact I don't like what you do
I'm sorry I'm not your age
but I work as just as hard still the same.
SO give me a chance to prove I can do it

keep banging on doors....never forgetting respect....if you act like a child...you will be treated like one....oh and you really should put quotation marks around the pledge of allgiance......you didn't write it.... I really like this.....and remember, they do it to older folks too.   ~SEA

Well done here! Wow....i liked this one. Great message here. Yes, the young people are rejected in certain things but so are old people, like SEA said. So i guess yer only cool when yer in the happy medium eh?
Oh well.....who knows..maybe WE will be rejecting the younger people some day.

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

your theme is really great, but the flow was a little shaky.  At times, it read more like prose.  However, your message is truly wonderful.  I hope a lot of people read this!

naw.  I wouldn't put quotations around that part.  I agree with what you are saying.  I once tried to get a job at 17 and even though I possessed my A.A. degree, the only places willing to take me were fast food.  argh.  but I also would say that many teenagers act irresponsibly and are deserving of close scrutiny by potential employers.

like a burning fire
Shut up in my bones;
I was weary of holding back,
And I could not.

by not putting it into quotation...you are plagiarizing someone else's work...and that is against PiP guidelines.......read them
