I lose you in daytime,
I find you each night.
You tell me you love me,
But avoid my sight.

I once tried to see you.
You moved into dark.
You're always in shadow
Except in my heart.

I believe you're an angel,
Sent from above,
But you're absent in light
And thrive on my love.

Maybe you're something
Not better or worse,
Perhaps only human,
Which isn't a curse.

Why you're only happy
When day is away
Is the unsolved mystery,
Oh why can't you stay?

I lose you in daytime,
I find you each night.
You tell me you love me,
But avoid my sight.

*One meets his destiny often in the road he takes to avoid it.

GREEK MYTHOLOGY ROCKS!

I really love this piece... describes the myth well, and it seems that it ties into a situation you are in right now. Anyway, great work. Thanks for sharing.

I love mythology....well done here meggie!

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

"We only come out at night - i the days are much to bright...we only come out at night..."

Eros...hmmm.  The whole thing had some mystique to it, i really liked the repetition at the end...
