I Think I Died Today
I gave Them what They want today,
It seemed I sold my soul.
I tried to be like Them today,
I turned my heart to coal.
There seemed no other way.
I think I died today.

I tried too hard to change today,
I showed that I was weak.
I gave up who I was today,
I could not be a freak.
There seemed no other way.
I think I died today.

I tried to be so cool today,
I put my dreams away.
There seemed no other way,
I think I died today.

I really like this. Wonderful job outing you feelings down. I understand how harsh peer presure can be, but no matter if you are forced to be someone who you are not outside, remember who you are inside. Beautiful poem. Great job.

Awesome poem! I thought you wrote thise awesome!!! Great job here.....I loved the ryhme scheme.

kool!!! hey this poem does a good job tellin what it's like. my friend dani is obbsessed with the song silverchair-freak, n she said this reminds her of that. great job here! yaaaaaaaaaaay!!!!!!!
