poet unknown
we long to hear
the words of life
we hold so dear

poet unknown
we seek to find
the tales of life
you tell in rhyme

poet unknown
we ask to know
the ways of life
to help us grow

poet unknown
I wait to see
if the tale you tell
will speak to me

Sven, what you are doing for some of the poets in here is wonderful. These tributes just keep getting better and better. This sums up Albertia perfectly.

Well done on these. He will be very happy.

well done sven!!!  I enjoyed this poem. You are so generous to write these for the poets you have written them about. Well done!

a good poem for a good person!  I got that, Cherish!
I think you did a great poem about Albert, he was always chattering to me on AIM about he couldn't wait until he got one... hehe.... I knew it would reflect him well.
Most of these that I have seen have been superb, Sven.  Great work, my friend.

thanks to everyone that's replied. . . these are great to do. . . when I came up with the whole Gallery idea about a year ago, I wasn't sure how it would be received, but your responses and total enjoyment of the poems have made it all worthwhile. . . thank all of you so much!!!

albert my friend, it's my honor to include you here. . . you've been such a great supporter of this new series of Gallery poems, that I could think of no better way to say "thanks" than to write a poem for you. . . thank you again my friend, and I hope that you'll be with us for a long time. . .
