Green

You bombard my senses
And invade my thoughts
Green
Long arms with soft fingers
Reach in the window to pick me up

Some things are so hard to take seriously.
But not green.

Take me up to your leafy boughs
Wrap me in shades of summertime
Green
Away from the hurry and noise
Up to the sky

Some things are so hard to believe in.
But not green.

You stand straight and strong
Filled with majestic power
Green

Some things are so hard to take strength in.
But not Green.

I liked this poem, and how you use the color green. green is one of my favorite colors, but nothing compares to blue!!
