- School days -

In one ear, out the other,
Meaningless words, why do I bother?
Try to understand, when nothing makes sense,
Information can't make it through, this mental fence.

I don't want to know, can't understand why,
The fact is I'm too lazy, I don't want to try.
Forgotten how to listen, forgotten how to learn,
Try to think for myself, but inside my mind, it burns.

Well done on this one. I really liked it.

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

I'm in love with my shadow
I admire it daily

School tends to do that to you. You've expressed yourself well.

Good job.

I think the title is very good in this poem... it sort of prepares the reader to read something innocent and light-hearted in a way.  However the twist caught me by complete surprise, and I like that a lot.
This poem overall works very well because of how short it is, the message is compressed.  Good work.     Oh and I like the consonance in line four.
