I wait for you
Here
Alone
Where are you?
Where did you go?
I wait here
In fear
Wondering
Hoping your ok
Where have you gone?
Why did you leave?
Questions running through my mind
My mind is racing
Damn the silence
I can’t think
It’s impossible to imagine where you could be
Where are you?
You left me
Wish sadness and despair
And nothing to hope for
Nothing to feel
I will search on
For a short while
In only a little time
All hope will be lost
All dreams will come crashing down
All life will end
I feel weakness setting in
I feel sadness coming
I fall
Down
Hurdling towards the ground
No one is there to see
Nor to help
I lie there
In a drunken stupor
Where?
Where could you be?
I ask myself
It’s my fault you’re gone
My fault
With my eyes raised to the sky
I plummet
Death bestows it’ wrath upon my body
Gone
I am gone
Never to be found
Yet this started with a question
Where did you go?

This one needs an explanation, her boyfriend basically wasn't around when she needed him. This one isn't totally focusing on child abuse but letting you know more about the girl's life. and as for why the series is titled 'Dark Angel' You'll find out at the end of the series

Very well done. I really thought this poem was well written. You really portray this girl in a time of need very well.
I liked it.

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

Great job, Tony. Having someone not there for this girl is a great way to bring more pain into the series.
