I like the night
the peacefulness of it
sensing the gentle undertone
of danger

I like the night
the darkness embracing you
knowing that within any second
all could change

I like the night
the company of just my thoughts
coming face to face with yourself
only in the night

I like the night
the solitude surrounding you
feeling nothing but the touch
of the night

Just leave me alone and give me some space.

interesting poem...you wrote the main idea positive then the example of that idea negative...i thought this was very creative...graet job...tiff and hope to see more...

The night is the best time of the day. All the cool animals are night ones too. Nothing is as creepy as an owl on the hunt. Anyway, a very cool piece. Seeings how it is about night makes it even better.
