Today
I left a larger angel
In the pure, white snow.
Yesterday
I came home
With a scar on my nose.
The day before
I was only 30 inches tall
What's gotten into me?

Tomorrow
I leave my mother
For a bus to another world.
The day after
I find my vision
Of life
Is nothing but a blur.
Day after day
I walk
In the rain.
What's gotten into me?

Childhood
Has passed me by.
My innocent dreams
Have taken to the sky.
Sleepless nights
Cloud over me
And it rains depression
Into the deep blue sea.

April no longer bursts
From the flowers of my youth.
Lips from my own children
No longer say the truth.

I don't mind you
Calling me a child.
Because that's who I am
And how I was all the while.

So I am the child
I am the angel in the snow
I am the kid with
The scar on his nose.
I was, and still am
30 inches tall
I have a mother and father
Who catch me when I fall.

And I know
I left them
And I know
I'm bound to lose them
Again.
And I know
How life will be
If I don't catch it
When it flies by me.

==========
Again...I don't think this makes much sense. All in favor? Say I. *Background: NOSE!*

Your words speak truth and yet they stated in a poetic form. I enjoyed this very much.

I liked this one but it's not as good as some of your others. Nonetheless, the poem was well done.

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.
