I see you everyday,
And yet you have never noticed me.
I stare at you,
And you stare right past me.
Your smiles in my direction,
Aren't meant for me.
It's like there is a lock on my heart,
And only you posess the key.
I see you in the halls,
Running your fingers through her hair,
If i fell off the planet,
Would you even care?
I am better than her,
In more than one way.
I would stay with you,
Each and every day.
If You took the time,
You would see,
That i am for you,
And you are for me.
But untill then,
Invisible i will stay,
Hoping you will notice me someday.

nice, Seems a reoccuring theme for people. Loving someone who not only doesn't love them back but doesn't even notice. Great work. Things that many people can relate to are always good subjects.

Nice.  Makes me wonder who it is about.
Well I'm glad you decided to share this.
The title is marvelous to this poem.  I urge everyone to keep the title in mind when reading through this, it is great because it observes that you are not invisible, but the person is BLIND, thus shifting responsibility of the lack of him seeing you onto his own perception.
Very, very good job with vagueness here... I'm incredibly impressed with the title of this.  I love hidden things to analyze.

after allan went on an on about the title, i thought about it and i am forced to a agree with him, the title works very well with this piece.  this is really sad, i hope that everything works out for you.

This is a good poem! I enjoyed this very much!

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

I'm in love with my shadow
I admire it daily
