Somewhere in the shadows,
A crazy little nut hid.
Scared of the insane people,
Who wanted to lick his Lid.
His Lid being a Doberman,
Who was his pride and joy.
His precious dog of many years,
Who was given to him when he was a boy.
Giving up to find the dog,
They went for the nut instead.
Then they tied this loony down,
And licked him in the head.
His screamed to be let up,
But getting away was too hard.
So he just lay there and got licked,
And whistled for his St Bernard.
That dog came a-running,
And jumped up on those guys.
Now that little nut got free,
And quickly said his goodbyes.
This little nut kept on running,
Until the sun did wake.
Allowing them to catch him in the first place,
He thought, was a huge mistake!!

This is for someone very special in this forum who never believed I could write a poem about a nut. Ha! Joke's on you, buddy! haha

My tears roll right down my cheeks, but they all soak into my pillow. I feel kinda sorry for it...
