Sickly green birches
shiver in chill.
The wind,
like a kerchief
swipes the silver,
quivering tears
off the leaves.
I sit by the window,
grieving...
I draw in the cigarette
smoke.

The imagery was nice, but I didn't much like this poem by you. It pretty much describes what you're doing and how you're feeling, which is obviously a state of meloncholy, but it didn't hit me like most of your poems do.
Anyway, it was still a good read.

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

I'm in love with my shadow
I admire it daily

Always a treat to read your words.  Unlike Dopey, I do like it as it is.  Simple but elegantly said.

"So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this give life to thee."  W.S.
