A little analogy of mine...  Enjoy.
- First Kiss -

As light meets shade,
And the night awakes to day.
The sun kisses the landscape,
An awkward kiss, but the first one is always this way.

The light clumsily probes,
The shadows shrink away.
In the moist moment of recognition,
The world is no longer cold and grey.

Nice analogy!  You captured the concept very professionally, I liked this a lot!
Well written.     Maybe share more of these analogies?

Great job here. I really liked this one!

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

I'm in love with my shadow
I admire it daily
