i'm screwed any way i go so just why should i try no matter how much i smooth out things i know the sparks will fly if i do the wrong thing i expect to find some shame but when i do the right thing why do things turn out the same? it seems i don't get an even shake against me, life's deck is stacked i've had very few opportunities and few want to cut me some slack. why must life be so difficult especially when i am trying? when i seek it's joys to find so often i end up cryin'. i can't help but think my luck is bound to chance maybe if i moved away somewhere and changed my name. could somebody help me please to understand how to get out of this rut and find a working plan? tell me what's the secret and i'll do it right away i'm ready for a new path so friend, just lead the way!  |

this is how i feel a lot of times and you've shown it in this poem..yoru thoughts really well..thanks for sharing and i did relate a lot to the words in here.keep writing   ...?if i die before i wake , i pray the lord my soul will take-"when thugs cry" |

this is a really heartfelt and emotional piece, i like thid a lot. you wrote this really well, i hope i get to read more from you in the future. Sometimes, the things that go unsaid are the only things worth hearing. |

Good, powerful poem. I like how you indented the crying smiley so that it was a little over to its left from the center... like the human heart. Ok everyone... I'm sorry to comment on the syntax of the smiley.  ~Allan Build a man a fire, and he's warm for a day. Set a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life. |
