I understand why You had to leave me I only wish I could have said goodbye But now that hope Of seeing you again Is lost in a sea of memories That I have tried to justify For so long without success And now I will grieve All alone Simply because you are no longer here with me So with this poem I bid you the farewell That I never had the chance to speak And that will regret for the rest of my life. WOW. i really liked this one i can relate to this bigtime. regrets are a terrible thing. Great job on the poem It's too bad I'm not as wonderful a person as people say I am, because the world could use a few people like that. |

Regrets are not something that I have... simply because the past moulds our current selves. Just a personal opinion though.  Nice poem though! ~Allan Build a man a fire, and he's warm for a day. Set a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life. |

i really hope that writing this piece gave you some closure in this situation, regrets have a tendency to eat away at a person. you did a great job writing this, very well worded and compact. keep posting all your work. Sometimes, the things that go unsaid are the only things worth hearing. |

Very sad poem. very sad....got me all sad. Very well done on the poem, but i wish you didn't have to write it....oh well. Good luck  I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |
