I like you a lot but I cannot say For circumstances has made it to be this way I want to tell you how much I care But I cannot because I am overwhelmed with fear How can I ever survive? ‘Cause telling you will be like a dare-devil dive My emotions are all mixed up And I have a feeling I’m in for a long drop Why can’t I just say it out? Why can’t I just open my mouth? Whenever we’re talking it gets all cluttered We start to quarrel and my true feelings are not muttered You are completely opposite to me Who am I fooling, we can never really be Why can’t you say all you have for me is hate? But even with that my feelings for you are too great There’s nothing more I can say So, I think it’s best if I stay away Why has fate been so very unkind? For I care for you and it’s driving me out of my mind Every action of our lives touches some chord that will vibrate in eternity. |

Being shy is something a lot of people need to overcome. Seize your moment, do it wisely, and try not to regret anything by NOT going after it.  I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |

Ditto to Javi. I don't think I could have said it better myself. Nice work, I liked this poem. And keep in mind what was said ^ up there. --Marie subconsciously, i think i can eat so much to make my stomach hurt, instead of my heart. |

i really liked this poem! i can relate quite well, at this particular moment in time actually. my only advice is for you to say what you gotta say before someone does it for you. it's easier on the situation if you do it yourself. the outcome might be different otherwise. wolf same-sex couples are like kama sutra - beautiful but misunderstood! |

This is a really tough situation. I was in a similar one, but I told the guy how I felt. I got shot down, but it was much better than letting him leave my life without ever knowing what might have been. Thanks for sharing. I do plan to seize the moment, it's just that I haven't found the right moment. I will tell the next time we meet..I hope anyway. Thanx all, for your support... I greatly appreciate it! Every action of our lives touches some chord that will vibrate in eternity. |
