Short poem about the duplexity of my life.  I wear shirts and ties to work, and echo and billabong on the weekends.  Somebody at work saw me out side of work and barely noticed me and told me that I "pull of Mr. innocent nicely at work"  So that was the inspiration for this poem.

~Professional punk~

Professional by day, punk by night
I try to live
   out' the spot light

Skate boards, guitar,
Echo and gwar
(hed) pe and Relative Ash
Factory 81, throwin' a bash

This is my life on days off work
At a concert, instead
        is where I'll lurk

Professional by day, punk by night
I try to live
   out' the spot light

Hey now.......I'm no punk and I play guitar. *bows*
Anyhow, very nicely done. I loved the poem.

Thank you every one

Yeah Albert I know the title's mis-leading but I don't like titles that make sense... they're not as fun... hehe

CLBinLOVE ~ I think your do understand... it is like a big trick and I love it.  The same ppl that see me when I'm all dressed up and complement me on my manners are the same ppl that give me dirty looks when I'm heading to the concerts.  FOOLS, FOOLS I tell ya... hehe and I love messin' with them.

Anyhow thanks again everyone

Oh Jay, I'm sorry I missed this one when you first wrote it. It's wondeful...lol
I think everyone has different aspects to themselves, and that's what makes us beautiful. By the way, I think that whole skateboarding concert thing is great... I've known those types of people forever, and it's all loads of fun... but...umm, occasionally, you run into a "punk" that has nothing going for them, and no ambition. It's so terrific that you have a job, and you write poetry... you just sound like the perfect guy...quite well-rounded.
Love ya!
Write more for me to read...hehe
