I gaze up at the stars thinking if you only knew, how much you mean to me and how much I love you. I miss you so much now that we're apart, and the sound of your voice echoes in my heart. But I can't chain you down if you must be free, because your happiness is so dear to me. So do me this favor promise you'll love again, for otherwise my efforts will have been in vain. Just remember one thing I'll always love you, because forever means forever when your love is true. ~ali 2Good |

It's really hard to let go of the one you love. I can really relate to this, but as you say, if you really love someone, you want them to be happy, even if it means you must be miserable. You are definately not a selfish person. I think that this poem is very honorable of your love for this person. Well done on the poem.  I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |
