I called you on the telephone Just to hear you say the words The words I love to hear When you say them my darkness goes away I told you I loved you on the phone and I waited But all you said was aww and I know Like I was all alone in those feelings I have You didn’t reply to the words that I did say I sometimes wonder what your thinking If your feelings mimic my own If so why don’t you say the words to me I feel like you don’t truly love me I tell you how I feel and how you make my life all good Don’t I do the same for you If I don’t I surely wish I was I love you so much with all of my heart And I wait to hear your voice say the same in return So I pose a question to you my love How do you truly feel about me Tell me are you ashamed To declare your love If so how could your love for me be real I would scream from a mountain top Or a street corner that I LOVE YOU!!! So again I ask you true How do you feel about me for real i am what i am and that is all that i am and all that i shall ever be......so deal with it |

Well. I know HER Pov too well... It's not that we don't like you guys when we're dating you. We might even be able to say it's love... but it's hard, it makes us vulnerable, it admits how strong our relationship is becoming. Those words are so big... we want to make sure we mean them 100%. Love the poem!! I think this whole "saying I Love you" thing is too overwhelming! I never told the person I love that I loved him until I was totally sure of it (which was approximately 5 months after he asked me if I love him like he loves me) . It's mostly because of fear of getting hurt or who knows what....... Believe me, it has nothing to do with you! So don't freak yourself out about it... give her some time... Good luck! Keep posting! Every action of our lives touches some chord that will vibrate in eternity. |

Love can be a scary word, a dangerous word, an empowering word, a painful word, a blissful word, etc, etc... It's more than a word when truly meant and I know I, for one, will NEVER use it until I am 100% absolutely postiviely SURE about it... but keep in mind there is a difference between loving someone and being IN love with them... you can love lots of people but being IN love with someone is hard to come by... Sugar....that's first statement is a invalid generalization....so i'll disregard it.... but anyway.....lemme just say that LOVE is something not to be thrown around....should be said only when felt. I understand your questioning since she does not say it....it would be horrible for YOU to love and for her not to and only feel a deep affection. The imbalance of feelings between partners can cause frustration for the one who cares more due to the lack of care by the significant other. Figure it out.... Nice poem, by the way!  I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |

yeah can be annoying when u lay your heart out and its counted as nothing or just passed by well loves ya from me as u go in life there will be ur hardships it is up to u if it makes u or breaks u. |

This is a very nice post. I'll agree with Javi. Love isn't something that can be thrown around nonchalantly. It's something that goes far deeper than "I like you a lot." It's so much more than that.. I never said those words to anyone before now, and even so, I know I mean them and every time they come straight from the heart. Okay, sorry for rambling, but it really bugs me when people throw around the idea of love like it's nothing, because it's quite possibly the strongest emotion that can be felt. Nice work.. And don't stress about it. Maybe she's nervous about it? Anyhow, good work, and I enjoyed this. --Marie subconsciously, i think i can eat so much to make my stomach hurt, instead of my heart. |

thank you all very much for reading my poem i hope you all enjoyed it, i know what your all saying and i know most of what you said already and i thank you for all your adivise and stuff you ppl truely are great now i just need to see if tiffany will respond to this pome lol later guys i love you much ben redshaw the great and now and forever totally in love(for real no throwing words around) i am what i am and that is all that i am and all that i shall ever be......so deal with it |
