For the first time in a while, you just called me
Feels like how things used to be
When we were together
You sound the same
But yet, everything has changed.

Your telling me about your life
One that I used to be a part of
When we were in love...
I miss our talks
And our long walks
But yet, everything has changed.

You were my first kiss
Never will I forget how much of you I miss
No matter how much time goes by
Our song will always make me cry
We used to be friends
But yet, everything has changed.

I'm with a new guy
I'm not going to lie
But you are what I compare
Every guy to, its probably not fair
You used to make my heart go crazy
But yet, everything has changed.

Then, its you on the phone
And I don't feel so alone
You are in my life again
I don't know what to do
I want to say I will always love you
Now I know, not everything has changed.

Before you do anything drastic, think of the other guy's feelings too
Well, seems like you're in a hard situation
Seems like you really like this guy
beautiful read
thanks for sharing

I enjoyed this a lot. Think about what Acire said....but yea. Well done on the poem.

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

I'm in love with my shadow
I admire it daily

i really liked the ending to this, and i thought you did an excellent job telling a story with this piece.  This is a tough situation to be in, i hope everything works out for you.

Sometimes, the things that go unsaid are the only things worth hearing.

This is a very nice poem.  It's filled with expression.  Very sweet    Nicely done
