I've been gone for awhile, but I was working on a pretty long poem in my opinion. Submitted for your approval
--------------------------------------------
Wasteful Hearts

The life in your step
Never thought you'd run
Better come back now
Come up now to me
You know ya gonna die young
Oh so young

It's so hard to read
Or write what I know
The more I think of you
The pencil shavings seem to grow

Nobody can replace you
Now shut off
Nothing to do
Short time
Anymore anywhere
It should be a crime
To waste all of our time

You've wasted too much
We only have so much
Everything you've ever known
Was there
When will you decide

Old at heart
But still wet behind the ears
It's amazing you can still hurt
After all of these years

I'll break my pen
To make you happy
The bonds that seperate us
To take apart
To see what's biding time
Inside your heart

Where's your message now
Wrapped with your roses
Given the gun
You're not dead yet
But you gonna die young
Much too young

Nights don't last forever
As soon as you see the sun
Love me now
You gonna die young
Too late
And young

Now the winds couldn't carry your kisses
They were already there
Could someone say no
This life is never fair

Now the words I wrote
They seemed to sing
You loved them with love
You forgot to bring

I'm dying now
Still too old at heart
Talking to myself
I'm too much like you
My words are split apart

Too tired now
Others young at heart
To hold you just once
Driven away
Is a pain too sharp

If you could see
But you stopped to soon
So your vision couldn't hear me

With this life passing by
Can't live in your world
Crawl away alone and die

I never knew your reasons
Deep inside underground
Suspect me of walking proud
With fingers stripping the clouds

Did you give up
I never saw your reasons
With smiles changing like seasons
I believe you had your reasons

Many times I saw the storms
I stood fast
Now wherever I hear thunder roll
I think of life's loves past
Much too much too fast

Too many words
All wasted
You turned too late
Tell me baby
How's it gonna be
How long do I have to wait
How young

"The heart can think of no devotion
Greater than being shore to ocean
Holding the curve of one position
Counting an endless repetition"

The length on this was intimidating, but worth the read.  I didn't like this one as much as the others, but you still did a fine job.  Thanks for the read..

subconsciously, i think i can eat so much to make my stomach hurt, instead of my heart.

BRAVO!
Long but great!

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

I'm in love with my shadow
I admire it daily
