My tearstained pillow
One things they'll never take away
On which I have mumbled
Words of love
Words of hate
Words of pain
On which I have dreamt
Of happiness
Of peace
Of an escape
That I have hid under
And wept silent tears
And admitted all my sins
And begged to be free
From this Hell called my life

*If the only place I can live my dreams is in my sleep, then I'll sleep forever!*

I liked this. Makes you totally look at that plain pillow in a whole new perspective. I hope everything is going OK in life for you cause you didn't sound too happy.

If this is a true statement then I've felt this way before. Nicely said. I liked this .

This is a very sad poem.  *hugs*  I'm sorry that times are trying for you.  I hope things get better.
This is a very well written poem, and a joy to read.  Thanks for sharing.
Keep writing about it.. it helps.

Very sad poem. I enjoyed it but hope you get better!

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.
