You were all too blind
Too see just how I really am
You assumed I lived in a picture perfect owrld
But then again, I let you
You couldn't see the  tears
Streaming down my cheeks
Staining not only my face
But my heart and soul
The ever present invisible tears
That leave no visible signs
No puffy, red eyes
No makeup streaks
You can only see
That fake smile
Disguising my face
Allowing you to believe
In my picture perfect life

*If the only place I can live my dreams is in my sleep, then I'll sleep forever!*

This is a beautiful poem.  *hugs* I'm sorry things are hard right now, but you know you have me to talk to.  I will talk to you later.  Very nice job.

This was sad. It sucks that you feel you have to hide behind that mask of yours. I liked the poem but you should really assess your life and decide how to better it because living life behind a mask is not healthy at all. I surely hope all gets better

I admire it daily

Great job on this poem...truely amazing topic. People can be so stupid and naive. I had people believing for 3 years nothing was wrong with me in 2 different ways and then once i broke down and told people they didnt believe me..thats how much of a great actress i was!! I still do have people believing things arent wrong with me..i think its become addicting. But either way i guess the right thing i should be telling you is to not hide things in cause they can become damaging which i do believe is true..but im not gonna contradict my feelings cuz a few times i let people see "the real me" i regretted it and wanted to take it back but of course couldnt...so i guess do whatever is right for YOU. But reguardless..this is an amazing poem and i hope you feel better.
