Are you still alive or have you died? You wear a mask to cover your face, a suit to cover your body, gloves for the hands, a hat for the head, a scarf for the neck and shoes for the feet.

Do you even know who you are anymore? You were once a free and happy person. Now you cover yourself up from the tips of the toes to the top of the head.

Why do you do this?

You used to be so loveable, so kind.
Now you show no emotion. Not that it would be visible if you did.

You had respect being you. Showing everybody your true self. People wanted to be able feel that way, to be able to be themselfs.
But they were too afraid.
You were never scared to just be you.

You had a hard three years. In that time you slowly went back into yourself. we only ever saw a true glimpse of you.

We want you back we know your misrable. You can always ask for help. It's so simple to do all you need is the conferdence. Not to be like anybody else. To be yourself once more.

Is that a smile i see forming through the layers. I see your layers slowly drifting to the ground./ You now look "normal" once more. You are able to see your beauty inside and out.

'Love starts with a smile, grows with a kiss, and ends with a tear.'

Wow.. this one hit home.  Hard.  It made me want to read it over and over again.  This is such a beautiful poem.  You really portrayed a whole lot of emotion... I love it.  This one if definitely going into my library.
Very nicely done.

good job.

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

I'm in love with my shadow
I admire it daily
