Mother dearest,
Why do you do this?
Sitting all alone,
Burying yourself in these books,
Not knowing what is wrong,
Watching you just sitting there,
Knowing something's wrong,
Breaks my heart to see you,
Crying all alone.

You don't seem to face me.
You just turn the other way.
It's as if I don't exist anymore.
No matter how hard I try,
While you age from day to day,
My heart drifts farther away.
I need you to love me,
I need you to try,
I need you to pretend,
It doesn't matter if you lie.

I am not your object you can throw in the bin,
I am something that is real,
And not just pretend.
I know my sister has gone away,
Away to Heaven's place,
But that doesn't give you the right
To excuse me from your life.

With the poems that you have posted recently, i can really tell that you are improving as a writer.  this is a good piece so keep up the good work and keep posting.

Aw this is so sad. *Hugs* I hope things get better. This poem is heart breaking.....I'm sorry.

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

I'm in love with my shadow
I admire it daily

Sarah, yes I am aware of the situation between you and your mother.  You penned it wonderfully.
You know what I have to say about the situation, and there's no need to say it in public.

This was a great piece and it had wonderful emotions in it... I can only pretend to understand what you are going through but I hope you get through it.
