I only knew you for a few months
And already you will out live me by decades
The time we spent together are for our memories
You will just have to remember them more often
For you see I wanted to live my life
And girl with you I've done just that
Except you will live longer then I and will cry more than I have
Just watch me beautiful and see that everything is just the way it has to be
This time look deeper in me see how much love has done for me
So now begins the countdown
See this through with me
Be here with me because I don't want to go home alone in the dark

Nice poem. I don't want to go home alone in the dark either.

Nicely done. I really liked the way this was written.

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

I'm in love with my shadow
I admire it daily

Sometimes, the things that go unsaid are the only things worth hearing.

It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives.

No one wants to go home alone in the dark, but in the end, we all end up alone and in the dark.
I really liked the poem.
I hope she walked you home.
I would.

Heh... very good job.  I did like the idea presented in the last line especially.
