Hide me from the evil,
Hide me from the pain,
Hide me from the shadows,
Hide me from the rain.

Hide me from the bloodshed,
Hide me from the hurt,
Hide me from the heartbreak,
Hide me from the dirt,

Hide me from the darkness,
Hide me from the ghost,
Hide me from suffering,
Hide me from the host,

Hide me from forever,
Hide me from the chance,
Hide me from life itself,
Hide me from death’s lance,

Hide me from myself,
Hide me what I am,
I don’t want to see,
What a coward I’ve turned out to be.

It can't be!
He exists..
Master of the Oceans!
It's..
Leviathan...

Wow, this is really powerful, maybe one of the most powerful I have read yet.
I think starting with the same two words "Hide me" really made it drive home.  It showed that there was an imagery there that was so...deep...you were desperately trying to hide from every one and every thing yet in the end it was only yourself that you wanted release from.
Well done, this is brilliant.

Actually, its not about me. Allen Riverwood probably knows who it's about. Anyway, thanks for the compliments.

Oh yeah... this would be big Eddy the Bard.
I thought this was the most original of the series so far, because it focused on his ability, and drew a parallel with his personality.  It works out great... I love trying to catch the character just by the title.
Very nice job on this one especially, I look forward to the others!

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

Ahh, but did you know Allan Mr. expert that his real name's Gilbert?  I have the a foreign copy of the game :-) Another example is that Golbez is really named Golbeze.  Anyway, a very good poem though

This is a great poem, Kosetsu.  Probably one of the best I've seen from you.  The way you used the italics throughout except the last line was powerful.  Very nicely done!
