I was amazed to hear your voice
Although it made me want to cry
I even had a smile on my face
When I got to say my goodbye.

I didn’t think I would ever
Be able to say goodbye to you
This is my final goodbye
So I must bid you adieu.

I loved you so much
With my entire heart
Once we were so close
But looks like we grew apart.

I thought our hearts were one
I thought we were in love
I wrote to you a letter
And attached it to a dove.

She flew up into the wind
And disappeared in the night sky
Did you get my letter
That tells you goodbye?

It took me a month, but I FINALLY got to tell Justin goodbye

i dont know if i should cry because its over, or smile because it happened

Tam-
It sounds like you're finally over Justin. Thats good to hear. Altho after his call, and what you told me happened last Monday, I thought you were gonna have a nervous breakdown.   But, you're obviously doing better

It's good to see you moving on. Hope to see you progress more.

there's only one person I never got to say goodbye to.  THey've been dead for a little over six months now. I can't say goodbye because I need to say I'm sorry. Anyway, nice poem Tamma.

I wish people would stop telling me that I can do anything I want to.  I never thought that I couldn't.

Tamma~
Letting go of someone is hard, especially when you grow close to them. I dont know how I would react if I was in your position. At least not as easy as you are. Its hard for me to say goodbye to anyone. But your doing what you have to. Great job on the poem!

Wow, I loved this.
It was so real.
And so appropriate at this stage in my life.  I don't know if anyone else understands this but you know how a poem can often be a lot more powerful if you're going through something like that at the point when you read the poem (that most likely made no sense).  Yeah well, I'm trying to say goodbye to this friend but I can't.  I loved him so much and he hurt me a lot.

Wonderful poem.

Tamma... lately you've been using a rhyme scheme.  Very cool!  You're trying different aspects of poetry, that is very admirable.  I personally prefer the works I have seen of yours that have a rhyme to them, in most cases.
Hope you keep this trend up.
