Everything else on my mind is being erased
Your eyes shines as the stars above
When I hear your voice I can feel something in my heart.

The words you whisper in my ear I don’t understand
I’ve never learned the way I’m suppose to be, only the way I am.

I think I’m old enough to know the reason I feel the way I feel about you
Think I’m old enough to hear about responsibility and emotions
I think I’m old enough to know how much it hurts to lose.

Each time we’re together
Everything seems to change seems to get better
Looking at the road to nowhere
Inside my soul I never knew I would be standing there.

The feelings deep here inside I can’t express
Cause I’ve never known the words to say, known the way to kiss.

Tell me, cause I need to know the way to love
Need to know the way to reach to your heart
No matter how far away you are
I want you to feel my extraordinary love.

I think I’m old enough to know the reason I feel the way I feel about you
Think I’m old enough to hear about responsibility and emotions
I think I’m old enough to know how much it hurts to lose.

I think you wrote this well. A lot of good thoughts within the poem
I especially liked how it ended.

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

I'm in love with my shadow
I admire it daily

Great poem! I understand exactly how you feel...or I should say I did a few years ago. It took a while but I think I'm getting to the place you want to be at. Don't worry...it will all come to you in time, I know it's hard to be patient at times but like they say good things come to those who wait. Until then good luck with this person you like so much. Or perhaps its stronger then like, either way don't give up!

Wow...you are incredible! Your writing for some reason captivates me, even when I don't relate to it. I honestly think I look forward to reading your work more than anyone else's. Except Valerie, but just because I know her better!
