im on a roll..

Deep dreams filled with endless pleasure
warm arms trap me against a hard chest
holding me close, squeezing away all my pain
there is no more pain & sadness in this dream world
only bright skys, hot sun and pure love
unrealistic views blur my eyes
a life filled with innocence
swallows me whole
a joyful mind wanders to a subject it adores
hazel eyes, tanned skin, and a deep rumbling
laugh, shapes a boy with a golden heart
as my dream fades I wake up
realizing that life is never that simple
never fair or happy
but until then I'll continue to dream.

I really loved the ending to this poem.  very nice work.

I'll agree, the ending was genius!     Great job on it Regina, this was one of your best I've seen so far.
Keep up the good work!  Don't stop dreaming.

I haven't read that much from you thus far, Regina, but this poem is amazing and the ending really caught me.  Great job, and I hope to read more from you soon.

I liked it. Thought you did very well Ina. Sometimes life is great though.....sometimes it IS fairytale......

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

I'm in love with my shadow
I admire it daily

Aww, it can be that simple, just wait for the right guy...There arent many good guys around but the ones who are worth having are the ones usually that are available.
