In an upside-down garden

0 posted 2001-03-30 04:05 PM

Everything is topsy turvy,
the world is upside down.
I haven't seem to stop smiling,
ever since you've been around.
Nothing is what it appears to be anymore,
and to tell you the truth, I'm glad.
Because I couldn't stand the way things were,
in fact it made me sad.
The World has turned my life around,
and made it something I like.
I see no reason to be upset,
no reason to yell and fight.

I wish people would stop telling me that I can do anything I want to.  I never thought that I couldn't.
Life's tough, get a helmet.

It's amazing how your outlook can change after you meet a certian person. I don't quite get the last line, though. Sounds like there is trouble in paradise. I hope things work out! Thanks for sharing.

This poem isn't your best work but it is certainly a lot of fun to read.  i'm glad things are going well for you.

Not a bad job, as Ban said not really your best but it's nice to see something positive again.

Just as everyone else said, this wasn't your best... it's a very simple poem, but I'm glad things are going well.  Thanks for sharing.

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

Ahh, yes, nice to see something positive. My writing teachers say that you need to make people laugh or make them cry.  Well, I can only make them cry. Anyways, yes Dopey, I like someone.  I've liked someone for a long time and he's the only person who can make me laugh for two and a half hours straight. Justin.

I wish people would stop telling me that I can do anything I want to.  I never thought that I couldn't.

Your teachers have molded you into a better writter Allysa.
So, what's going on with Nitsuj now?
you moved yet?
