Kettle boiling up ready to explode.

This is my rage,
I’m boiling up with hate,
I’m trapped up in this cage,
I’ve got to much on my plate,
It’s mothers day tommorow,
But I have no mother to celebrate,
So I’m drowning out my sorrow,
But it leaves me feeling great,
I’m boiling like a kettle,
But my whistle has fallen off,
I’ve got scores I have to settle,
Steam I have to let off,
I’m angry at my mother,
For what she’s gone and done,
She’s been with another,
And i’m going to let off like a gun.

Anyway this is for my mother on mothers day, I hope she appreciates what kind of person she is.

Freedom is Slavery,
Ignorance is strength" - George Orwell "1984"

Don't you wish you could, somehow write louder ?

It sucks man......not the poem but the situation. Hope things get better.

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

Interesting scheme of rhyme in the poem. It interlocked, but one of them remained when the other shifted. It was quite unusual.
This caught my eye. The poem was alright, but could have been done better. Although I give you a great big kudos on the format.

This is great, as usual! I hope things get better for you.

I never thought that you would ever be the one to let me down. I guess that just goes to show how wrong I always am.

I liked your poem because I can feel your hatred while reading it.

Marshalzu:

I liked this one a lot.  It reminds me a bit of the way someone I used to know wrote notes to people.  I'm glad I'm not the only one here who feels a bit of distress over family matters.
