NOTE: It's a song....... C'mon read it! Don't click the back button!!!

Sea of Cares:

So we're lost in a sea of cares.
I don't know if I want to wear
My dark velvet coat of now.

It's all bleak.
My rosy cheek
Fades
Into the light that carries on.
The fact unknown, my only one
Fades
Into the minions lair of hell
Along with thoughts that all is well.

Screaming into your bleeding ears.
Lacteal emotion are the fears
Of jaded mysteries.
I made it, you can't see.
We smile at your life.
Your life of cob webs.
Your life of shimmering gobblets x2

So we're lost in a sea of cares.

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

I'm in love with my shadow
I admire it daily

I'm not a good judge of what constitutes a good song, but your words are beautiful and full of truth. I especally love the third stanza (verse? chorus?). Thanks for sharing.

We meet again, Mister Bond!

Well, someone finally drudged me up from the bottom of some stinking drainage ditch...Deranger walks this earth again!

(Cough)

Anyway, nice seeing your royal dopiness is still kicking, and producing lyrics now? Hmm...kinda of Smashing Pumkinish...which is cool...nicely...

Well, nice seeing you again...

Deranger I'm glad you compared it to the smashing Pumpkins....they are my favorite band and thus I am influenced by their lyrics a lot.

Thanks all!

Boy, you are so gonna be a songwriter or something some day. You are awesome! I just thought I had to tell you that. It does sound like something Smashing Pumpkins would write......welll, bye bye!

I wish people would stop telling me that I can do anything I want to. I never thought that I couldn't.

Dopes,
You already know how much I love this but I'll say it once again for the record. I love this.

Your imagery was superb and the second, I'm guessing verse, was written in such a way that is nothing short of fantastic.

I hope to see LOTS more soon.

Nice one Dopey. I especially like this stanza:

It's all bleak.
My rosy cheek
Fades
Into the light that carries on.
The fact unknown, my only one
Fades
Into the minions lair of hell
Along with thoughts that all is well.

Just a question: What does Lacteal mean?

-Kosetsu and his somewhat uneducated self

It can't be!
He exists..
Master of the Oceans!
It's..
Leviathan...

Sorry I didn't reply sooner. I read the song, thought I replied, but when I checked nothing was there. Guess I'm a crackhead. Great song, as always Dopey. These lines are awesome:
"The fact unknown, my only one
Fades
Into the minions lair of hell
Along with thoughts that all is well."
