In an upside-down garden

I used to watch people.
having fun,
sharing laughter,
making memories,
reminding me of myself,
before I was changed,
and I began to watch other things.

I used to think it wasn't worth while,
to try and change life,
to try and make it better,
to try and change what you don't like,
to try and fix everything,
to make it all better,
to make something of life.

I used to hate the things I couldn't fix,
all I didn't have an effect on,
all I couldn't change,
everything I wanted to change,
but couldn't seem to reach,
all I wanted to fix,
everything that was anything but perfect.

Watching Time,
was all I used to do,
untill the day,
you changed that,
untill you changed me,
untill you changed life,
untill life became worth while.

I wish people would stop telling me that I can do anything I want to. I never thought that I couldn't.

Life is what happens when you're making ot

Nice job on this one, Allysa! "Thank You" poems are always so sweet, especially when done correctly.
Keep up the good work. You have been impressing me quite a bit lately.

I feel very special now! Seriously, Allan, your comments mean a lot to me. You're always correcting me, and everyone else, letting us push to do our best, and I'm thrilled that this meets your approval. (hugs Allan really really tight) Well, g2g do that whole school deal. Although, sometimes it seems more like prison than school. Oh well, see ya later!

This is very good! I know how that is. Good message. Nicely written!

I never thought that you would ever be the one to let me down. I guess that just goes to show how wrong I always am.

This is a wonderful piece displaying how this person changed your life. I'm so glad that you have someone like this who is there for you. Thanks for sharing.
